Entscheidend ist, dass die grundsätzlichen Fragen, was denn Psychiatrie, was psychische Gesundheit und Krankheit, was Diagnose und Therapie seien, ganz unabhängig vom jeweiligen wissenschaftstheoretischen Standpunkt eines Autors nicht ignoriert und nur unter Einbeziehung und Nutzbarmachung des bestehenden und in Zukunft zu erarbeitenden Wissens über ihre Geschichte beantwortet werden können.
